Lloyd Library 

The Eclectic Medical Institute, later known as the Eclectic Medical College, operated from 1845 to 1942 in downtown Cincinnati. Eclecticism, a medicinal movement based in noninvasive therapies and healing practices, was popular during the late 19th century and into the 20th century.
