The regional history of Northern Kentucky as part of the Ohio Valley must be preserved for the benefit of present and future generations.
Borderlands Archive and History Center
We are a department of the Boone County Public Library and serve as the local history hub, providing digital & physical collections, online resources, genealogy services, programming and more. We are also proud to be part of the National Park Service’s Network to Freedom. Includes
African Americans of the Kentucky Borderlands, a database relevant to the history of African Americans in Boone County.
